I was not pleased. After waiting in the waiting area and vitals were taken I waited in the treatment room for over an hour. No showed up during the hour, I felt like there was no sense of urgency or understanding. So I just exited the room and left the clinic.

My family had a traumatic experience at this facility. After speaking with a manager about the experience, I am not sure the staff understands the gravity of what occurred. We will not be returning to Upper Valley Urgent Care.

I have a Hispanic surname but do not speak Spanish very well. I am 66 years old. The person who examined me did not speak English very well. I am thinking because of my last name, I was diagnosed by a Spanish-speaking person. Also, the young lady who was last to see me, spoke only in Spanish. If you check your records, my wife and I have been patients for a least twenty years, not to mention our three kids who we used to take there also, when they were much younger. First of all…not one person that we encountered in this visit introduced themselves to us including the practitioner that assessed my daughter. I was asked if my 7 month old could “stand” on a regular scale to get her weight and I was also asked if she could provide a urine sample on demand. This is a 7 month old baby!!! Another thing was they were trying to use an adult pulse ox on her to get her heart rate and O2 saturation. Again, this is a baby. It was a horrible experience! I’ve had nothing but good experiences. I have told people about you guys and they like it too. This last visit I had with a PA was nothing but a bad experience!!! She was not engaging at all, she asked me what was wrong and I told her. Not sure what I said or did that made her upset. She checked my throat and ears and didn’t even say how they looked. My visit was typical for Urgent Care. Two shots and a dismissal. The nurse practitioner did not introduce herself. She could have been housekeeping. I had another issue that she did not see. Poor clinical skills.

It took about an hour before the doctor saw us, and the front staff appeared unorganized. People that showed up after us were placed in front, so definitely one of the worst times there. We go there often and just didn’t make sense why service has become bad.

No warnings about the drugs were given to me, no wait times after I received injections, and the nurse brought in the wrong meds four my injection. If I did not ask her what she was giving me, I would have been injected with the wrong medications. No protocols seem to be in place there.
